Moroni, April 20 (QNA) - Governor of Anjouan Island Moussa Taeb on Tuesday met with H.E. Qatar''s Assistant Foreign Minister for Follow-Up Affairs Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Rumaihi who is currently visiting the Comoros. The Qatari official''s visit came on the sideline of the action plan of the Members of Arab Committee pertaining to Comoros'' Donors to make a follow up to future projects set to be implemented in the Comoros. The meeting was attended by Comoros Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmed Sayed Jaafar and a number of officials in Anjouan Island. Among the future projects that will be carried out in the Comoros is a 20,000 square meters modern hospital complex which will be built by Sheikh Jassim Bin Jabor Al Thani Charitable Society. General Manager of Sheikh Jassim Bin Jabor Al Thani Charitable Society Mohamed Ahmed Al Hail said " we put an action plan including building a general hospital and another specialized hospital for curbing malaria". He added that consultations are underway to complete the administrative procedures of the project. "Our first visit to Anjouan Island aims at viewing the site and making consultations,", he said , adding that a meeting will be held with Health Minister and specialists to complete other procedures of the project which was submitted to consulting firms and contractors to examine the conditions and to find the appropriate company to implement it .
